"I better get going.  If you ever need me, just repeat my name twice and I will come to your call.  Unless I am otherwise preoccupied, that is."  Elizabeth said.  She clicked her fingers and disappeared.
"Well, that was interesting, wasn't it?"  I said, nudging Toast who was walking beside me.
"Yes, it was Ma'am.  Are you okay?  You're not hurt or anything, are you?"  Toast asked, looking worryingly over at me.
"I'm fine.  It's not every day you find a ghost in your house.  Also, call me Sylar."  I said, smiling at him.  I tried not to stare at him too much, but it was very difficult.  He was absolutely gorgeous.  I glanced at the TV as I made my way towards the kitchen.  I noticed that my movie was still paused.  I quickly turned it off and walked to the kitchen to make coffee.
"We should be going."  Ghost said, standing in the kitchen door.  Toast was standing behind him.
"Are you sure you don't want to stay for coffee?"  I asked.  I tried not to sound too disappointed.  I really wanted to talk to Toast a bit more.
"I really don't think we can."  Ghost said, playing with his phone.
"But I have some questions."  I said, trying to sound confused.
"I think we should answer her questions, Sir."  Toast said from behind his friend.
"Okay, we'll stay for a bit."  Ghost said, looking up from his phone and smiling at me.

"Why did the ghost look like he was soaking wet and dripping from his mouth?"  I asked, sipping my coffee.
"My best guess at that is that he drowned, and still looks like he did when he died.  He obviously cannot change his appearance because of his low level."  Toast explained.  I found myself listening to every word he said.
"Was that thing Ghost had something like the Proton Packs in Ghostbusters?"  I asked, gesturing to the gun like object that was sticking out of Ghost's backpack.
"It contains salt filled bullets.  It will easily get rid of low level ghosts.  It'll decrease the power of a more powerful ghost."  Ghost said, nudging the bag with his foot.
"Cool."  I said, sipping at my coffee again.  There was a short silence between us.  It was soon broken by a noise from upstairs.
"Not again."  I muttered.  The two ghost hunters stood up.  They drew two smaller guns from holsters at their hips.
"I could do with some defence."  I said, coming to stand with P.I.E.  I was feeling a lot more confident now.  I'd seen plenty of ghost movies, why should I be scared?  Ghost handed me his gun and picked up the bigger gun.

What came down the stairs was not what I was expecting.  An old man that looked vaguely like Colonel Sanders.
"The Toilet Toucher."  Toast muttered.  Both ghost hunters tightened their grips on their guns.  They looked scared.
"Sylar, maybe you should leave.  It would probably be safer."  Toast said.
"I'm not going anywhere.  This is my house after all."  I said, adjusting my grip on the gun.
"Grwegory."  I heard someone say behind us.  I whirled around and saw a person made of cardboard.  It was gradually walking towards us.
"I love you Johnny Ghost."  I heard someone say in a French accent, at least I think it was French.
"Go away Aimee."  Ghost growled, looking at the girl who was hovering in front of him.  She was ginger and wore a green, old-fashioned dress.
"I see you've met my friends."  A man said, striding towards us.  He wore a long brown coat and a brown Stetson hat.  His hair was sticking out from under the brim of his hat.  His eyes burned with fury.
"Anyone want to explain what's going on?"  I asked, not sure where to look.
"Yes, of course, Sylar.  My name is Maxwell Acachalla.  And these are my friends.  Aimee, Cardboard Box Friend and the Toilet Toucher."  The man named Maxwell said.
"Okay, and why are you in my house?"  I asked, pointing the gun at him.
"We've been tracking Ghost and Toast."  Maxwell answered, smiling at the ghost hunters.
"We'll just have to take her too."  Aimee said, pouting slightly.

"I have an idea."  Ghost said, more to himself than anyone else.
"What?  You're going to scream like a little girl and hope someone saves you?"  Maxwell asked, laughing.
"No I'm going to repeat a name twice."  He said, smiling back at Maxwell.
"That's a new one."  Maxwell said, still laughing.
"Elizabeth Howell.  Elizabeth Howell."  Ghost said, and smiled at Maxwell.  Within a second, Elizabeth appeared standing beside Ghost.  She looked annoyed.
"Why did you call-"  She started and looked around her.  "Oh."  She said.  She didn't look happy.
"Elizabeth, my darling."  Maxwell said, stepping closer to her.
"I'm not your darling."  She said, pulling a sword from a sheath at her hip.
"So all those kisses years ago mean nothing now, is that what you're saying?"  Maxwell asked, smirking slightly.
"That's exactly what I mean.  I realised you were a bad idea.  I've grown out of you."  Elizabeth said, pressing the point of her sword against Maxwell's throat, not hard enough to cut him but enough to scare him.  Apparently, he'd gotten too close for comfort.
"You had a thing with Maxwell?"  Ghost asked, sounding disgusted.
"I was a lot younger."  Elizabeth replied, blushing slightly.
"Get them!"  Maxwell yelled, stepping back out of the range of the sword.  The Cardboard Box Friend was walking towards me.  I could have shot him but I had a better idea that wouldn't waste the bullets.  When it was close enough, I lashed a kick into its head, sending it flying back against the wall.  I then went to help out my new friends.
Chapter 2 is here!  Hope you enjoy it!  For SylarGrimm!

(If I've made any stupid mistakes, point them out to me!  Finding it hard to type tonight for some reason!)
(These charachters, excluding Elizabeth Howell, belong to VenturianTale!  And Sylar belongs to herself!)
